My mom was the same. She would not sell her shitzu pups to family with small kids. You need to talk to a veterinarian that is familiar with breeding small dogs.
However, when taking him out for walks he continuously sniffs if I let him and mark territory. My problem is that I have my name down with a breeder for a female Berger De Picard sheep dog. My question is should I change the puppy gender to a male?
