Melanie Gomez November 4, First of all, congrats on your new music! After being in the band Honor Society, what inspired you to come out with solo music now? It sounds cliche but it just felt like it was time.
I had a few false starts, but it finally felt right. I think I needed time away from Honor Society and the music business to find myself again and build my life outside of music before I felt like I had something to say.
The song instantly makes me smile every time I listen to it. Thank you, that was definitely one of the goals! It felt like it could appeal to a new audience and also be something Honor Society fans would like. Thanks, I love that line too. My wife went through some pretty scary health challenges at the beginning of the year and it really put everything in perspective for me. Time is our most valuable asset. Spend it wisely and on the right people.
